Tuesday morning I decided to return to Over Owler Tor for the sunrise as I’d been impressed with the heather the evening before and thought it would be good to see it under the morning light so I was up early and headed out at 04:30 am. The sky was already starting to colour on the walk up so I stopped off at Mother Cap to take my first photo before continuing onto the top of the hill. The colour of the heather nicely complimented the orange, blue and purples in the pre-dawn sky.
