A trip to the loo at 2am and a look outside to see mist outside had me up again at 03:30 and heading over to Curbar Edge for the sunrise. I always like it when you drive up the hill and you emerge from the mist and see the edge out in the clear. It was an unforgettable start to the day as the first light painted the sky in soft pinks and blues, a sea of mist settled sat in the valley while the full moon lingered above the horizon. A brilliant start to the day and I had it all to myself, certainly worth the silly o’clock start!
