Tuesday morning with mist forecasted I looked outside at 5pm to see thick fog so grabbed my camera and headed over to Curbar Edge for the sunrise, arriving onsite the fog was still very dense and didn’t look like the sun would be visible so continued past and parked up at Leash Fen. It was still very foggy here which was ideal for this location as it works really well with the Silver Birch trees creating separation and a wonderful atmosphere. I really liked this composition with the tree in the centre of the frame balanced by the trees behind equally spaced on each side and you can just see a hint of warmth from the sun filtering through the mist.
