Tuesday evening I set off on my annual heather pilgrimage to the Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge, setting off from Cutthroat bridge heading over the moor to pick the path up onto Derwent Edge where I would stop to take a few shots during the 1.5 hours walk to get there. I spotted this rocky outcrop with a lovely display of flowering heather whilst on route to the Salt Cellar and just had to stop and get a shot before continuing on to the final destination.
