Wednesday evening I headed over to Baslow Edge for the sunset and to check the heather out, the sky was quite hazy but the sun was still pushing through giving a nice golden glow. I walked the full length of the edge and found the heather to be sparse with lots looking very scorched and dry, it took quite a bit of searching to find any that was particularly photogenic. This lovely clump of colourful heather caught my eye nicely set off with the setting sun.
