40. Pindale sunrise

Boxing Day morning I looked outside to see thick fog so I decided to make the most of it and head out for the sunrise choosing to go to the top of Pindale to see how it would pan out. Driving up through the valley the fog was so thick that visibility was down to a few yards so I didn’t know what to expect higher up, luckily the sky was visible with some fantastic high clouds and with the lower mist I was getting some wonderful soft pastel tones and 30 minutes later the sky came alive with some fantastic vibrant orange and pinks as the sun came up under-lighting the higher clouds while the top of the Cement works chimney can just be seen emerging above the dense layer of fog.
