12. Winter sunrise on High Neb
12. Winter sunrise on High Neb

I was up Christmas Eve morning meeting for the sunrise and decided on a climb up to one of the lesser visited areas on Stanage going to High Neb the highest point on the edge. It was bitterly cold with a heavy frost making the rocks very slippery but luckily no wind so no danger of being blown over the edge! There was just the right amount of cloud to bring out some lovely colour when the sun appeared lighting up the frost coated gritstone.
