Thursday evening I headed up onto Over Owler Tor for the sunset arriving during the golden hour to see how the heather was progressing, initially the skies were fairly clear but as the sun dipped below the horizon the moorland came alive with colour. The purple heather seemed to glow in the warm evening light, while streaks of cloud stretched across the sky, adding the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable sunset.
