A trip to the loo at 2am and a look outside to see mist outside had me up again at 03:30 and heading over to Curbar Edge for the sunrise. I always like it when you drive up the hill and you emerge from the mist and see the edge out in the clear. I captured this putting myself in the frame just as the sun came over the horizon and the first rays of golden light reached the gritstone creating a lovely contrast to the cool tones of the fog lying down in the valley.
