With heather season rapidly approaching I decided to head up onto Higger Tor Friday evening to see if there was any signs. I was surprised and delighted to see some lovely patches already coming into flower, so with a bit of careful framing I was able to isolate a colourful selection in my foreground while capturing the sun bursting though the clouds.
