Tuesday morning I looked outside at 04:30 to see thick fog in the valley so decided to go out for the sunrise. My plan was to head up to Cressbrook to capture mist in the dale but when I got up onto the tops above Foolow there was no mist in that area so plan b had me heading over to Curbar Edge, luckily the mist was in abundance here so I made my way onto the edge and set up my camera. The mist ebbed and flowed over the edge with this image catching it illuminated by the rising sun turning it lovely shades of pink and orange.
