Wednesday morning I was out with the plan of shooting some millstones with the sun rising over Stanage Edge, the sky was completely clear when I set out but by the time I’d reached the millstones mist was starting to rapidly roll in and visibility was disappearing fast so I decided to make my way up onto the top of High Neb, it was quite an experience standing up here as the mist ebbed and flowed over the edge changing from almost no visibility to getting distant views along Stanage all within a few minutes before disappearing again, this was one of those moments when the edge revealed itself while the mist was beautifully backlit by the rising sun.
