Yesterday morning with more mist forecasted I was up again for the sunrise this time heading over to Curbar Edge, another drive through thick fog which I emerged through as I climbed up towards the top of Curbar Edge and was delighted to see a nice selection of high cloud which I knew would take on colour as the sunrise approached. I set up my tripod and enjoyed the tranquility as I waited for the dawn to break and wasn’t disappointed when the sky lit up with soft pinks and purples that complemented the cooler tones of the valley while the fog in the valley created layers that added a lovely depth to the image.
