Tuesday evening I e headed over to the Monsal weir to take some photos, there was quite a bit of cloud around when I arrived but luckily we got a nice break when the sun came through beautifully illuminating the weir and surrounding trees, a nice breeze and a light mist from the water kept the temperature down and the midges away which was a bonus.
