Monday evening with a break in the weather I headed out for the sunset at Mitchell Field, there was a high and low layer of cloud with a gap in the middle which I knew once the sun dropped into would light up the landscape so it was just a case of waiting for this to happen. I could also see a band of rain coming down the hope valley so I had my fingers crossed that the sun would arrive before the rain, luckily it turned out perfectly allowing me a few minutes of glorious light before the rain stopped play.
