After looking outside at 03:30 Monday morning and seeing thick fog I was soon out of the door heading over to Leash Fen for the sunrise. This area is at a high elevation so I was pleased to still see a nice amount of mist which created fantastic conditions. The early start more than paid off resulting in a great selection of shots that I’m really pleased with, this was taken shortly after the sunrise with the mist helping create some lovely soft light and a wonderful ethereal atmosphere.
