Monday evening I headed up onto Higger Tor for the sunset, as I arrived the sun disappeared into the clouds and the light went very flat, then the sunset itself didn’t happen due to the low cloud but waiting around paid off as the high cloud started to show a hint of colour and gradually the sky lit up with a fantastic display appearing like it was on fire and looked fantastic above the purple of the new heather.
