Heading back down the path after shooting the sunset at the Salt Cellar the full moon had risen and looked fantastic it was a vivid orange with a halo created by a light layer of cloud and was sitting directly above the Wheel Stones. I fitted my zoom lens choosing a long focal length to make the moon appear large in the frame while using a nice lead in from the ‘S’ shaped path to get this shot. Many thanks to the unknown person stood on the stones for adding a sense of scale and human element to my composition.
