White Edge dawn
White Edge dawn

Friday morning and I was out for the sunrise again this time heading over to Curbar Edge. It was another fantastic morning with another temperature inversion putting the valley under a blanket of thick mist. I arrived at Curber Edge about 40 minutes before the sunrise and made my way onto the edge to capture the view over Baslow Edge but looking behind me towards White Edge the first colours of dawn were coming through and looked lovely combined with the soft mist. I swapped to my telephoto lens and zoomed in to compress the layers to isolate the hills into an almost abstract pattern picture.
