I had a great evening on Sunday with Andy back in the disused tunnel light painting again. I was trying out one of Dave Thompsons brilliant etched blades to produce the swirls in the picture. This image was technically a bit of a challenge and took us quite a bit of experimentation to get it right, I used a couple of gelled flashes for the main illumination, some added smoke for atmosphere which was simple enough it was getting the alignment of the blades with both hands (one is easy!!) which was the main issue. A bit of good teamwork though and we had the shot in the bag. All done in one exposure, straight out of camera shot.(Olympus EM-1 mk2 7-14mm f/2.8 pro 5secs live composite over 7 minutes f/6.3 @ 12mm)
